This video showcases two of the types of sound design, linear (cinematic clip) and non-linear (gameplay clip). For both of these, sounds were recorded or used from sound libraries. Foley effects were used for the characters, including footsteps, clothing sounds, weapon and magic sounds. Background sounds were created for the environment in both cinematic and gameplay, with gameplay sounds being seamlessly looped. Stingers were added for both cinematic and gameplay, involving sounds of ravens, thunder, and equine stable. Sounds were recorded and mixed inside of Pro Tools for both cinematic and gameplay, with all gameplay sounds mixed inside of Wwise and then created as a soundbank for the game file.
